In 2012 – New Colony was founded by Barbara Muriungi Collett. With 10+ years of design experience in motion & animation, illustration & media, she set up New Colony studio once she returned to work in Nairobi. New Colony is a design consultancy that works with brands & clients helping them create thoughtful branding by providing design direction.

Today New Colony is focused on design & illustration & imagery that is inspired by culture and influenced by modern art.
