De Forty-Five

“De Forty-Five” (Of 45) is a lifestyle studio that helps Chameleons curate their own experiences. This space within the creative ecosystem in Accra and the continent of Africa was started by Daniel Mawuli Quist, to serve his needs for an alternative fashion shopping experience. The idea is to create a space that forms part of a community.

Call them romantic, De Forty-Five doesn’t exist only within the virtual communities but also the brick and mortar space. Their physical studio space is a haven for vintage fashion essentials, handcrafted products, and beautiful accessories. They accept universal fashion aesthetics but translated through the lens of creativity from the African continent. They encourage sustainable, ethical fashion and believe that recycling is a way to enforce that, hence collaborating with different artist and brands to create and sell uniquely made items in their shop.
