Carole Nevin Designs is  family business and this is the solid foundation on which it rests. The people that work for them are vital to the success of this business. Everything is handmade, both hand-painted or hand-printed, and therefore very labor intensive and exacting. They are very proud to have the opportunity to train and employ many previously disadvantaged individuals both locals as well as from other African countries, many of whom come from informal settlements. They have a policy of job creation and training especially for unskilled or semi-skilled workers and in their small way, they contribute to redressing the ills of the past regime and poverty in Africa.

The beautiful handcrafted range covers a wide variety of fabrics, kitchen accessories, scatter cushions, curtaining, upholstery and table linen including: tablecloths, table runners, serviettes, place mats, aprons, oven gloves, tea towels, shopping bucket bags, sling bags, cushion covers, fabric storage bags and purses. For them, the most exciting part of the business lies in the design and product development leading to a quality product truly appreciated by their loyal customers. They produce everything themselves and are 100% Proudly South African.
