OneHouse Exhibition
In line with the aim of preserving African indigenous cultures, stories, and expressionism, Mbari Uno held OneHouse; a joint art exhibition featuring Leye Moses, Gbenga Ajiboye, and Funso Omojola. This collaboration of artists helped to open our eyes to facets of afro-centric methods, mean and stories. It is a celebration of diversity and African history in the most beautiful visual way possible.

Leye Moses
Leye Moses is a Visual Arts graduate of UNILAG, who aspires to make a mark in the art world by creating works of timeless relevance. Oyeleye Moses popularly known as Leye Moses is known for his realistic portraits which are majorly done with ballpoint pen. He one of Nigeria’s finest ballpoint pen artist. The young artist concurs to the claims of artists having the ability to influence the society through their arts; be it in Visual, Music, Performing Arts, or in any other forms. Leye Moses believes with the world has become a global village through technology and social media, it’s a lot easier now to get people influenced and inspired through creativity of all forms.
Gbenga Ajiboye
Gbenga Ajiboye had his early education at Government Secondary School Omu Aran, Kwara State.
He worked briefly for a greeting card company after his high school education. In 1989 he got admitted into Obafemi Awolowo University where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art (Painting Major). Ajiboye’s artwork takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. His work mimics the African dream, fairy tales, folklore, proverbs and idioms that are part of childhood and adult culture. The influence of the Ona Art Movement in his works gave rise to the using of intelligent variation of tones and linear emphasis to separate the foreground from the background, imbued with signs and symbols.
Funso Omojola
Funso hails from Ayedun Ekiti. The people of Ekiti carry on their ancestral traditions through dress, dancing, and way of life – while adding contemporary complements like the many festivals that take place here. This history and aged traditions have been a source of inspiration for Funso’s art. A visual artist, Funso is known for his signature Africa abstraction pointillism style. He studied general art at the Yaba College of Art and Design, Yusuf Grillo Hall, Lagos. Omojola looks to preach through colors the gospel of unity to the world. Funso has established values in his works and a work ethic that has characterizes a visionary whose focus is on creating art that lasts beyond the measurement of time.
