Facilitator
James Abinibi is a Film Director, Producer, and Writer who currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria. He started off his creative career in the Advertising Industry as a Creative Director for 5 years during which he launched major national campaigns for brands such as TURA, PZ Cusson, Haier Thermocool amongst others. He extended his creative prowess to the film industry in 2006 and worked in different capacities as a crew member on box office movies such as IRAPADA, THE FIGURINE, OCTOBER 1, THE CEO, etc.

He has since directed cinema features such as MENTALLY, THE CALL, THE CLEANSER, LAST REQUEST, and others. His films have been showcased in film festivals around the globe and in 2019 he got an award for BEST DIRECTOR at the AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL in London.

He runs ROCKBOTTOM FLIX, a film production company based in Lagos, Nigeria. Abinibi gets his inspiration from his environment and sometimes shared experiences, his dream is to make films that evoke emotions and thought processes beyond quality entertainment.
