Their rugs are meticulously handcrafted by women artisans in the Western Cape using 100% South African-grown mohair. Empowered by their handicraft, these local women hand spin and dye the raw fibre using trusted techniques to ensure exceptional quality and durability. The bold, geometric patterns are inspired by traditional patterns in African basketry, pottery, murals and beading to express the untold stories of indigenous Southern African craft in vivid, visceral form.
